Abstract

ABSTRACT This article explores the work of novelist Griselda Gambaro as a lesbian discourse that counters the prevailing patriarchal discourse of the Latin American dictatorships. Gambaro's work is placed in the context of other Latin American "lesbian" texts that also challenge the political status quo by providing deviant models of female sexuality.
