Abstract
Primary hypothyroidism may occur as a consequence of, or concomitant, with numerous therapies such as amiodarone, lithium, cytokines, antithyroid drugs, iodine, etc. On the other hand, hypothyroidism may be diagnosed in patients after radioiodine therapy, external radiotherapy to the neck and partial or subtotal thyroidectomy.
