Abstract

A case of a rare skin adnexal tumour, aggressive digital papillary adenoma was described. The tumour had a characteristic forefinger localization, showed microscopical cystopapillary pattern combined with more solid and partly cribriform structures. Tumour cells were represented by lighter cuboid and darker smaller spindle elements. In immunohistology, the tumour cells were positive for epithelial markers (CK, EMA), minority of them showed S 100 protein positivity. Basal cells along the collagenous stroma tissue were strongly actin positive. The light microscopical picture was complemented by electron microscopy for the sake of a more detailed description of tumour cells.
