Use of gadopentetate dimeglumine as a contrast agent for percutaneous transluminal renal angioplasty and stent placement

Abstract

Percutaneous transluminal renal angioplasty and stent placement was performed successfully in a patient with renal artery stenosis and renal insufficiency using gadopentetate dimeglumine and carbon dioxide as radiographic contrast agents. No iodinated contrast material was used for the procedure.
