Synovial chondromatosis of the shoulder. A review of the literature and description of a clinical case

Abstract

The paper provides a brief review of synovial chondromatosis of the shoulder, with the description of a clinical case as an example. Surgical treatment constituted by removal of the free intraarticular bodies does not always result in radical synovectomy because of the complexity of the anatomy in that region.
