Chemical peeling: an alternative to rhytidoplasty

Aesthetic Plast Surg. 1996 Jul-Aug;20(4):333-6. doi: 10.1007/BF00228466.

Abstract

Phenol chemical peeling is a well known ancillary procedure for facial rejuvenation. It may be used as an adjuvant to rhytidoplasty or may be an alternative in selected patients or in patients who refuse to undergo both procedures and prefer a single stage and scarless procedure. The results are very gratifying and long lasting.
