Abstract

Malignant Melanoma of the nasal cavity is a rare occurrence. Its clinical manifestations at beginning are non-specific and its macroscopical appearance is variable due to the several pigmentation tonalities which render sometimes difficult the diagnosis. The confirmed diagnosis result from the histopathologic study of the tissue. The treatment is surgery, when the cases are operable, and radiotherapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy either as adjuvant or as palliative management in inoperable cases.
