Abstract

A case report of a complete left spontaneous pneumothorax in an F-16 pilot during a 6-G maneuver in flight. The events surrounding the clinical presentation, treatment, aeromedical disposition of aircrew, and the potential influence of positive pressure breathing for G (PBG) and COMBAT EDGE are discussed.
