Abstract

We report a case of femoral osteosarcoma with brain metastases in a female patient with longstanding von Recklinghausen disease. Osteosarcoma of a long bone has not yet, to our best knowledge, been reported in association with type I Neurofibromatosis. Central nervous system metastases occur very rarely in osteosarcoma.
