Abstract

The clinical data to emerge from the use of a steroid type i.v. anaesthetic in 128 patients undergoing operations involving the entire maxillofacial surgery field are reported. Administration technique is described and advantages assessed. The substantial value of this drug, particularly as an alternative to halogenate volatile anaesthetics is reasserted.
