Bow hunter's stroke

Abstract

A case of suspected brain stem infarction (modified Wallenberg syndrome) due to vertebral artery injury in a bow hunter is presented. An anatomical review is presented to explain the neurological involvement, and recommendations are given for avoiding this syndrome.
