Positive direct antiglobulin test due to anti-Fra in a newborn infant

Abstract

A positive direct antiglobulin test due to anti-Fra was found in a newborn infant whose mother previously had borne two other Fr(a+) children; all three were clinically unaffected. Family studies showed no evidence for close linkage between the Fr and HLA loci.
