Anaesthesia in myositis ossificans progressiva. A case report and clinical review

Abstract

An 18-year-old black youth with myositis ossificans progressiva recently underwent eye surgery. The clinical, laboratory and radiological findings are described. The problems associated with anaesthesia are presented and their management is discussed. The condition is briefly reviewed.
