Large Bladder Stone Detected on Renal Scintigraphy

Clin Nucl Med. 2023 Dec 1;48(12):1114-1116. doi: 10.1097/RLU.0000000000004922.

Abstract

A 39-year-old woman with hydronephrosis underwent 99mTc-DTPA renal dynamic scintigraphy to evaluate renal function. The images revealed a central photopenic region in the urinary bladder. SPECT/CT images suggested the abnormal tracer distribution corresponding to a large urinary bladder stone.
