Medical care centers (MCCs) are an important part of the German health care system and offer a wide range of outpatient medical services. In recent years, the discussion about medical care centers has increased significantly and is largely emotional and interest-driven. The aim of this article is to provide a factual analysis of the current situation of MCCs in Germany and the role of private equity practice groups.
Medizinische Versorgungszentren (MVZ) sind ein wichtiger Bestandteil des deutschen Gesundheitssystems und bieten eine breite Palette von ambulanten medizinischen Dienstleistungen an. In den vergangenen Jahren hat die Diskussion über MVZ stark zugenommen und wird größtenteils emotional und interessensgetrieben geführt. Ziel dieses Artikels ist eine sachliche Analyse zur derzeitigen Situation von MVZ in Deutschland sowie der Rolle von Praxisgruppen mit Kapitalbeteiligung.
