Abstract

PTH orchestrates calcium homeostasis and doubles as a potent, clinically important regulator of bone mass. Adding to the known peripheral regulation of PTH secretion and function, a study by Zhang et al.¹ in this issue of Neuron identifies centrally mediated pathways regulating these processes.
