Background: Imaging is of great importance in sports injuries, since the indication for conservative and surgical therapy depends on precise knowledge of the extent of the damage.
Objectives: Typical sports injuries and their imaging requirements are to be presented as examples.
Conclusions: In order to detect the often subtle pathologies, imaging must be adapted to the clinical diagnosis that is specifically suspected.
Zusammenfassung: HINTERGRUND: Die Bildgebung hat einen hohen Stellenwert bei Sportverletzungen, da von der genauen Kenntnis des Schädigungsausmaßes die Indikation zur konservativen und operativen Therapie abhängt.
Ziel der arbeit: Es sollen exemplarisch typische Sportverletzungen mit ihren Anforderungen an die Bildgebung dargestellt werden.
Diskussion: Um die teils subtilen Pathologien detektieren zu können, muss die Bildgebung an die spezifische klinische Verdachtsdiagnose adaptiert werden.
