Abstract

The title compound, C₄₂H₃₇NO₂, crystallizes in the ortho-rhom-bic space group P2₁2₁2₁ with one mol-ecule in the asymmetric unit. An intra-molecular hydrogen bond orients the phenol hydroxyl group toward the imine nitro-gen. The aliphatic alcohol is engaged in a weak intra-molecular hydrogen bond with the imine nitro-gen.
