Abstract

The title compound, [MnBr(C₁₃H₈NO)₂], consists of a manganese(III) atom, which is coordinated by one bromido and two benzo[h]quinolin-10-olato ligands. The Mn^III complex exhibits a distorted square-pyramidal coordination geometry with the Br ligand in the apical position. Neighbouring complexes are held together by π-π inter-actions and weak C-H⋯Br hydrogen bonds.
