Abstract

At the time of its construction in the 1930s, the architectural bias of the Franco-Muslim hospital, located in Bobigny (93), was very strong. It posits that the cultural reference participates in the reception and care. However, as new buildings are added to the structure, these references become more tenuous. This retreat is accompanied by major changes for the establishment, in its management, the public it welcomes, the care it provides and, above all, in its stress. This is well reflected in the appearance of the modular system, an emergency architectural solution that is now becoming more widespread and permanent in this hospital.
