Bacterial-Type Long-Chain Polyphosphates Bind Human Proteins in the Phosphatidylinositol Signaling Pathway

Thromb Haemost. 2022 Nov;122(11):1943-1947. doi: 10.1055/s-0042-1751280. Epub 2022 Jul 30.

Abstract

A human proteome microarray was probed with long-chain polyphosphates. Several of the identified proteins (DAB1, PIP4K2B) were further validated using small-scale assays. The depicted proteins shared the common feature of a functional relationship to the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway.
