Abstract

The paper is devoted to a comparative assessment of the efficacy of radiation and multimodality therapy of stage I-II Hodgkin's disease in children. The authors analyzed therapeutic results in 2 groups of patients with relation to therapeutic programs. The 1st group (58 patients) received radiation therapy after a radical program, the 2nd group (64 patients) received chemoradiotherapy. Comparing immediate and long-term therapeutic results and the results of a recurrence-free course, a conclusion was made of the advantage of multimodality therapy of local-regional stages of Hodgkin's disease in children.
