Retraction: "In vivo and in vitro effects of microRNA-221 on hepatocellular carcinoma development and progression through the JAK-STAT3 signaling pathway by targeting SOCS3," by Shan Huang, Da Zhou, Yu-Xuan Li, Zhi-Yong Ming, Ke-Zhi Li, Guo-Bin Wu, Chuang Chen, Yin-Nong Zhao, J Cell Physiol. 2019; 3500-3514: The above article, published online on 28 October 2018 in Wiley Online Library (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jcp.26863) has been retracted by agreement between the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Gregg Fields, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. A detailed investigation revealed that several image elements of the experimental data were published elsewhere in a different scientific context. Thus, the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.
