Retraction: "Effects of microRNA-370 on mesangial cell proliferation and extracellular matrix accumulation by binding to canopy 1 in a rat model of diabetic nephropathy," by Feng-Na Yu, Ming-Lan Hu, Xin-Fang Wang, Xiang-Ping Li, Bei-Hao Zhang, Xiao-Qing Lu, Rui-Qiang Wang, J Cell Physiol. 2019; 6898-6907: The above article, published online on 14 October 2018 in Wiley Online Library (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jcp.27448) has been retracted by agreement between the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Gregg Fields, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. A detailed investigation revealed that several image elements of the experimental data were published elsewhere in a different scientific context. Thus, the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.
