Abstract

Cardiac disturbances in patients with neurogenic myocardial dystrophy are characterized by the increase of systolic portion in cardiac cycle due to isometric contraction phase and the tension period as well as shortening of the diastolic duration. These myocardial disturbances are of extracardiac nature and their elimination is a prophylactic factor against development of a number of cardio-vascular diseases.
