Abstract

Objective: A method is described for topical local anaesthesia of the tympanic membrane and ear canal using lidocaine and phenylephrine (Co-phenylcaine) spray and soaked micropatties.

Discussion: The advantages of this method are discussed in comparison to existing methods.
