Course Review: The Hand and Wrist Sculpture Course

Abstract

The Hand and Wrist Sculpture Course, organized by the Surgical Sculpture Workshops and badged by the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), is a 2-day innovative course aimed at trainees in plastic and orthopedic surgery, as well as therapists, teaching about the bony and soft tissue anatomy through a hands-on sculpting workshop for application in clinical work. The course is delivered by an expert faculty of hand surgeons with a keen interest in art and sculpture, and costs £300.
