Blood Adv. 2020 Apr 28;4(8):1643-1646. doi: 10.1182/bloodadvances.2019001411.

Abstract

  1. Vitamin D deficiency is a predictor for poor overall survival in patients with multiple myeloma, even after adjusting for age and stage.

  2. This difference is only observed in white patients, not African Americans, even under a lower threshold for deficiency.
