Lymphocyte-depleted classic Hodgkin lymphoma is the rarest subtype of classic Hodgkin lymphoma globally, although it may be more common in developing countries. The diagnosis of lymphocyte-depleted classic Hodgkin lymphoma could be challenging, and the disease might be misdiagnosed as more aggressive B-cell or T-cell lymphomas. Patients with this disease present more often with unfavorable risk factors and have poorer survival rates than those with other subtypes of classic Hodgkin lymphoma.
