Abstract

Franck-Condon factor arrays have been computed numerically to high vibrational quantum numbers for the band systems $\begin{matrix} N_{2} : C^{3} II - B^{3} II (Second Positive) \\ N_{2} : B^{3} II - A^{3} \sum (First Positive) \\ N_{2} : A^{3} \sum - X^{1} \sum (Vegard Kaplan) \\ N_{2} : a^{1} II - X^{1} \sum (Lyman-Birge-Hopfield) \\ N_{2}^{+}; A^{2} II - X^{2} \sum (Meinel) \\ N_{2}^{+} : B^{2} \sum - X^{2} \sum (First Negative) \end{matrix}$ and for the following ionization transitions $\begin{matrix} N_{2} X^{1} \sum \to N_{2}^{+} X^{2} \sum \\ N_{2} X^{1} \sum \to N_{2}^{+} A^{2} II \\ N_{2} X^{1} \sum \to N_{2}^{+} B^{2} \sum \end{matrix}$ .
