Abstract

The surgical technique of Nasteff-Rosenthal has been applied in cases of large cysts in mandible and maxilla. This technique includes complete enucleation of the cyst, replacement of the soft tissue flap and reduction of the dead space by placing matress sutures across the walls of the remaining bone cavity. The results of this operation are discussed.
