Abstract

Helminths in Selar crumenophthalmus fish were identified by PCR. Two helminth taxa were identified: Anisakis typica and an unknown acanthocephalan. Neither taxon of helminth identified is zoonotic. To our knowledge, this is the first report of either type of helminth in fish in Grenada.
