Abstract

A creative and universal technique, magnetism and vortex current coupling growth (MVC), has been developed for the super-rapid mass-production of the layered MAX (Ti₂AlC) phase. The book-like MAX grows from the bottom to the top layer by layer, separated by stacking faults to benefit the removal of the "A" layer from MAX.
