Abstract

  1. Infections are a major cause of morbidity and mortality in HCL patients, and myelosuppressive therapies increase the risk of poor outcomes.

  2. Vemurafenib achieves rapid hematologic improvement in HCL and may facilitate management during life-threatening infection.
