Clin Nucl Med. 2019 Mar;44(3):259-261. doi: 10.1097/RLU.0000000000002429.

Abstract

A 48-year old man who underwent renal transplantation 2 years ago due to chronic renal failure underwent FDG PET/CT to determine the etiology of multiple lesions in the renal transplant incidentally found on routine examination. The images demonstrated several foci of the abnormally increased activity in the transplanted kidney with SUVmax of 7.5. Surgical pathology demonstrated multiple synovial sarcoma in the transplanted kidney.
