1 Graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College (1956) was awarded the Charles Louis Davis, dvm, Journal Scholarship Award for the most outstanding publication in Pathologia Veterinaria for the year 1970. The award, which was announced on 14 November 1972, at the Business Meeting of the 23rd Annual Seminar of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in Atlanta, Ga., was given for his papers co-authored with K. R. Prick entitled »A Neuropathy in Goats Caused by Experimental Coyotillo ( Karwinskia humboldtiana) Poisoning, II through V.« The award consists of $150. Dr. Charlton performed the studies leading to these publications as a graduate student in the Department of Veterinary Pathology at Texas A & M University. He is presently Research Scientist at the Animal Diseases Research Institute. Hull, Quebec, Canada.
