Abstract

Objective: To summarize the research progress of intervertebral disc endogenous stem cells for intervertebral disc regeneration and deduce the therapeutic potential of endogenous repair for intervertebral disc degeneration.

Methods: The original articles about intervertebral disc endogenous stem cells for intervertebral disc regeneration were extensively reviewed; the reparative potential in vivo and the extraction and identification in vitro of intervertebral disc endogenous stem cells were analyzed; the prospect of endogenous stem cells for intervertebral disc regeneration was predicted.

Results: Stem cell niche present in the intervertebral discs, from which stem cells migrate to injured tissues and contribute to tissues regeneration under certain specific microenvironment. Moreover, the migration of stem cells is regulated by chemokines system. Tissue specific progenitor cells have been identified and successfully extracted and isolated. The findings provide the basis for biological therapy of intervertebral disc endogenous stem cells.

Conclusion: Intervertebral disc endogenous stem cells play a crucial role in intervertebral disc regeneration. Therapeutic strategy of intervertebral disc endogenous stem cells is proven to be a promising biological approach for intervertebral disc regeneration.

目的: 总结近年椎间盘内源性干细胞的相关研究进展,讨论利用内源性干细胞修复治疗椎间盘退行性疾病的潜在可能性。.

方法: 查阅近年椎间盘内源性干细胞参与椎间盘组织修复再生的相关文献,分析椎间盘内源性干细胞的修复再生潜能,总结体外提取和培养椎间盘内源性干细胞的方法,并展望其临床应用前景。.

结果: 椎间盘组织内存在干细胞巢,内源性干细胞在微环境改变下归巢或迁移至受损组织,并参与组织的修复再生;椎间盘内源性干细胞的迁移募集活动能够被趋化因子系统所诱导。椎间盘的组织特异性干细胞逐渐得到确认,并成功分离、培养与鉴定,为椎间盘内源性干细胞的临床应用奠定了基础。.

结论: 椎间盘内源性干细胞在椎间盘组织修复再生中发挥重要作用,基于椎间盘内源性干细胞的生物学修复策略具有广阔应用前景。.
