Abstract

18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography (FDG-PET-CT) exhibits high diagnostic accuracy in the detection of vascular graft infections. Therapy control in vascular graft infection with FDG-PET-CT appears to be useful, as a significant impact on patient management has been described; however, supplemental data from large outcome studies are still pending.
