[Article in German]

Abstract

Using transmission electorn microscopy, a homogeneous deposition on abrasion facets in the dentin was observed in sections. This deposition ranged between 0.2 and 0.74 micrometer in thickness. In the area of the dental tubules, this layer may be dissolved with a 5% solution of acetic acid. It however is basically preserved in the region of the intertubular dentine.
