Sov Med. 1989:(6):8-13.
[Article in Russian]

Abstract

Changed levels of sex and gonadotropic hormones in the follicular and lutein phases of the menstrual cycle have been revealed in 12 women with Sneddon's syndrome. The detected disorders contribute to the genesis of obstetrical and gynecological abnormalities and of arteriopathy, which are characteristic of this syndrome. Reduced testosterone levels in 3 female and 4 male patients correlate with disordered sexual function.
