Rheumatoid arthritis with forefoot reconstruction

Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic disorder affecting joints as well as organ systems. The disease sequellae may result in complete loss of functional capacity. Surgical intervention including reconstruction of the forefoot may provide the patient with the opportunity to return to more activities of daily life.
