The present special issue presents exciting experimental and theoretical results in the topic of "Solvation Science", a topic that emerges from physical, theoretical, and industrial chemistry, and is also of interest to a multitude of neighboring fields, such as inorganic and organic chemistry, biochemistry, physics and engineering.
