I'm Not Lisa

Abstract

Abstract "I'm Not Lisa," which evolved from the pain of the breakup of a nearly 15-year relationship, attempts to explore the fine line between love, intimacy, and insanity. Although in earlier drafts Lisa was dispatched in nasty (albeit quick and clean) fashion, the writing served as a catharsis of sorts, and the author decided that life and art is indeed more interesting with Lisa in it. As Lisa put it, "Kate, you can kill me asmany times as you need to, if that's what it takes."
