Case of single right atrial diverticulum and review of etiology and management

Abstract

Single diverticulum of the right atrium is an exceedingly rare congenital malformation. We describe successful surgical resection in a 22-year-old asymptomatic woman with single right atrial diverticulum. An attempt is also made to throw light on the etiology and management of this disease entity.
