The paper summarizes the hitherto knowledge concerning the development of the first Czechoslovak Pharmacopoeia and adds some newly found facts. It is mainly based on the found correspondence demonstrating the care of the Czech Society of Pharmacists for a good standard of the Pharmacopoeia.
