An Immunochemical Assay for Detecting Transition of B-DNA to Z-DNA

Methods Mol Biol. 1992:80:337-45. doi: 10.1385/0-89603-204-3:337.

Abstract

The enzyme immunoassay technique described below is a simple and sensitive method to detect left-handed Z-DNA formation in synthetic polynucleotides, recombinant plasmids, and native DNAs. This method utilizes the differences in the antigenic properties of right-handed B-DNA and left-handed Z-DNA.
