Abstract

The title compound, [PtCl(2)(C(20)H(17)P)(2)], forms a monomeric cis-square-planar geometry. The Pt-P bond lengths are 2.2489 (9) and 2.2627 (9) Å, whereas the Pt-Cl bond lengths are 2.3566 (9) and 2.3336 (9) Å.
