[Systematic review of public literatures on HIV-1 genetic subtype in China]

Abstract

Objective: To identify the characteristics of HIV-1 and their distributions in the different infective subject of China, and provide base data for prevention and treatment of HIV infection.

Methods: We searched electronic databases such as the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), the Wanfang database and the Chinese Science and Technology Journal Full-text Database (VIP). Analysis the distributions of HIV subtype according the data acquired.

Results: A total of 62 articles were included with a total of 2091 cases reported. The main subtype epidemic in our country were B(12.4%), B(23.9%), CRF01-AE(30.0%) and CRF-BC(27.2%). There was relationship between the subtypes and the transmission routines. The circulation recombinant forms increased recently in our country.

Conclusion: The epidemic of HIV subtype in our country was more complicated, and gave more perplex in surveillance, prevention and treatment, meanwhile, it also gave more challenge for the vaccinal manufacture.
