Abstract

In the binuclear title compound, [Cu(2)(CH(3)COO)(4)(C(12)H(10)N(2))(2)], the copper(II) ions are coordinated by four O atoms from two pairs of bridging acetate ligands and one N atom from a (E)-2-styryl-pyrazine ligand in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. The structure displays no hydrogen bonding or π-π stacking inter-actions between the discrete binuclear entities.
