In the crystal mol-ecules are connected by inter-molecular hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking inter-actions between neighboring imidazole rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.5842 (5) Å and off-set angle = 21.77°], leading to the formation of a two-dimensional supra-molecular sheet.
